Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of LoopAware, operated by Marco Polo Research Lab ("we", "us", "MPRLAB"). By accessing or using LoopAware, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

LoopAware is a feedback collection and traffic analytics platform. It provides embeddable widgets, email subscription capture, and a dashboard for managing feedback and visitor data across your websites.

2. Accounts

You sign in using the shared MPR authentication service. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and must not share your session credentials. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Permitted Use

LoopAware is free for personal and non-revenue-generating projects. If your project generates revenue, directly or indirectly, you must hold a valid commercial license. See our Pricing page for available plans. Use of LoopAware to build a competing product or service is prohibited regardless of license tier.

4. Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you submit to LoopAware, including site configurations, feedback messages, subscriber lists, and traffic records. We store your data solely to operate the service. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties except as required by law.

5. End-User Data

When visitors to your sites submit feedback, subscribe to emails, or are tracked by the traffic pixel, you are the data controller for that information. You are responsible for informing your visitors about data collection and for complying with applicable privacy laws (including GDPR and CCPA where relevant). LoopAware acts as a data processor on your behalf.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: use LoopAware for any unlawful purpose; attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or its infrastructure; interfere with or disrupt the service; use the service to collect data from minors knowingly; or reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service beyond what the source-available license permits.

7. Availability and Support

We aim to keep LoopAware available but do not guarantee uptime. The service is provided on an "as-is" basis. Free-tier users receive community support. Paid-tier users receive email support as described on the Pricing page.

8. Intellectual Property

LoopAware and its source code are owned by Marco Polo Research Lab and licensed under the LoopAware Source Available License. All trademarks, logos, and brand elements remain our property.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MPRLAB shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of LoopAware. Our total liability shall not exceed the amounts you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using LoopAware at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends immediately. You may request export of your data within 30 days of termination by contacting support@mprlab.com.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of LoopAware after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
